Cancer Culture – Skin

Did you know that our skin is the biggest organ in our body? It is. Yet, Cancer Culture encourages us to exponentially increase our chances of getting skin cancer. The biggest, and really, the most foolish cultural trend unique to our modern times, is sun bathing or sun tanning. Prolonged exposure to the sun increases our chances of getting skin cancer, it also damages the skin and accelerates aging. Have we ever paused to think about when, why and by whom this Cancer Culture began?

Some may be thinking; the sun is a natural part of our environment and many people are Vitamin D deficient. Yes, both of these statements are true. However, there are optimal times to be out in the sun in order to get the most benefit of Vitamin D. This is certainly not by laying out like bacon on a grill in the middle of the afternoon without any layer of protection. Remember, exposing our skin directly too long to UV radiation is harmful. In fact, all front windshields in cars have a UV (UVA & UVB) filter to protect us. Well, we all know that UV is bad for us, especially our skin and that is why we use sun block spray or lotion. However, this where the main problem is, this is exactly where Cancer Culture has exploited our minds.

Industries have exploited us under the guise of skin health by pushing topical creams, lotions and sprays amongst other products. These industries range from beauty products to pharmaceutical “treatments”. These so-called skin health products are filled with chemicals (e.g. carcinogens, parabens, etc.) that are harmful and deadly to the biggest organ in our body. Now, pairing the carcinogens inside sun block applied to our skin, as a result of the cultural practice of sun bathing, with the direct contact of UV radiation is a recipe for, not success, but epic failure and damage. These carcinogens are being absorbed by our skin, whilst the UV rays are penetrating our bare skin. Both of these are dangerous and increase our chances of getting skin cancer. But this is not the worst of it. What happens when the rays interact with these chemicals? What sort of chemical reaction or activation is happening on the biggest organ in our body? Well, you think about it. Stimulate your mind.
